Over 100 Suggestions

After three days I have over 100 suggestions. There are some themes running throughout the cards, including peace, anti-war, love, caring and kindness and smiles. It is very challenging to begin considering how to realise a project that embraces these suggestions. I don't know if it is possible to have a lot of parts or to make one big whole.

I don't think it's so easy to come into an exhibition and respond to someone like me who asks you for ideas! Nonetheless some folk are making very complex, detailed and thoughtful propositions. I am hoping we can use this weblog or correspond by email and post to keep the conversations going as well as give those who think of more things after I go home a chance to contribute.

Believe in Yourself

I really liked the idea that we need to believe in ourselves, for not everyone finds this easy to do. I asked what we could do that would bring this idea into being. Another idea came up in the process, that we should help each other. Already I am beginning to think about how to express these ideas concretely through some kind of process of creative exchange and activity.

Concrete Suggestions

I feel it is important to start a dialogue. I want everyone who has taken the time to make a suggestion to feel they can continue to be involved. I know it will not be so easy, but I want the conversations that I have begun in Manezh during Dialogi to keep developing.

I have a Book of Contacts so that I can keep in touch with those that are interested. Throughout the day I have to ask people if they would like to sign it, so I am glad that I am in Manezh most of each day.

More Photos

I've put more photos on Flickr. To see more photos from Manezh, go to this url: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41594771@N04/

I have so many photographs from my time in the gallery as well as photos of each card, that I have decided I'll put more onto Flickr. I haven't had time to do it yet, but I'll get to it soon.

Busy Times

Sometimes it is very busy, and at other times it is quiet. During the quiet times I reflect on the proposals made so far.
